Meet Hogie

A quick intro from the man who writes your song.

I grew up with music in the Maritimes—cold winds outside and parents playing in a house band inside. By three years old, I was on the piano and singing.

I’ve lived a full life. I ran a DJ business through over 160 weddings and back-to-back December corporate bashes, hosted radio in New Brunswick, served in the military, and built a Calgary landscaping business helping seniors and veterans. I’ve seen all walks of life—and helped raise our family of kids and twelve grandchildren.

Now at 59, Get Digital Hugs and Sing Me The Song are my next chapter. I use all those life stories, my hyper-focused ADHD brain, and pure emotion to write custom tracks that hit people right in the heart. Whether it’s a living tribute, a wedding, or a business jingle, I don’t use generic templates.

I don’t hand over a song until it gives me goosebumps. If I’m making your track, it’s going to have real feeling in it—and you own it 100%.

What I want you to picture

The moment the song hits

The drive home

Husband and wife in the car. She’s had a rough day. He puts the song on — and her whole face changes when she realizes every line is about her. Tears. That’s the gift.

For Mom / Grandma

A senior opens a song made for her life. “Why did you make this?” Because this is your life. Happy tears. The hug after.

Christmas morning

A kid hears a song about him and his dog and the whole season. That “wow… this is about me” moment. That’s a digital hug.
